This year I was accepted to intern at the Victorian School of Languages as part of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music's IgniteLAB Community Artists Programme. This project combines two of my passions, performing music and learning languages. I am so excited to be working with bilingual students learning Turkish and Italian at the school. My internship involves using music to help students with their vocabulary building, pronunciation and fluency of speech. I will be performing and teaching at the school on a weekly basis throughout school terms 2 and 3.
I look forward to sharing more here as I discover new teaching techniques for music students and language learners!

A photographic exhibition by Vedat Acikalin. I am delighted to be performing Carlo Domeniconi's Variations on an Anatolian Folk Song at the opening night of Vedat Acikalin's exhibition on 10th of November. I look forward to seeing you there!
Photo by Sean Farrow, courtesy of the Melbourne Guitar Makers Festival, 2013. I had a wonderful time performing as a "guitar family" at the Melbourne Guitar Makers Festival in 2013. As part of this year's festival, I will be showcasing some of my end of year recital pieces in a short solo recital, shared with my good friend Sophie Marcheff. Please come and hear some of our favourite works and try out the beautifully handcrafted guitars! The 2015 Melbourne Guitar Makers Festival will be held at the Abbotsford Convent.
