Deniz is a soloist, chamber musician and educator currently based in Melbourne, Australia. Her cultural background as a Turkish-Australian and her passion for foreign languages, ethnomusicology and historical performance practice allows her to connect diverse pieces in a single programme.

Her performance highlights include solo and chamber recitals in Melba Hall, Montsalvat Artists Colony, Government House of Victoria and Perth Government House amongst others.

Deniz had the privilege of studying with the renowned Dr John Casey in Perth, and Daniel McKay at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. She regularly participates in masterclasses for many of the world’s leading guitarists and scholars including Ricardo Gallén, Lorenzo Micheli, Andras Csaki, Alexander Swete, Stephen Goss, Timothy Kain, Minh Le Hoang, Harold Gretton and Carlo Barone amongst others.
